Equal Opportunities Review together with Butterworths Conferences are running another major conference on the Equality Bill.

The conference, which is devised by Michael Rubenstein, will be held at the Millennium Knightsbridge Hotel on Thursday 15 April.

Michael Rubenstein will be opening the conference introducing the Bill and will chair the day’s proceedings. He will be followed by:

  • Darren Newman on “New definitions of discrimination”;
  • Andrew Short on “Changes to disability discrimination law”;
  • Audrey Williams on “Addressing multiple discrimination”;
  • Charles Wynn-Evans on “Positive action and the Equality Bill”;
  • Jane Fielding on “New provisions on equal pay”;
  • Barbara Cohen on “The new public sector equality duty”;
  • Bronwyn McKenna on “A trade union perspective on the Equality Bill”; and
  • Peter Schofield on “An employer’s perspective on the Equality Bill”.
